Youth basketball is offered during the fall and winter with registration starting in early September. The league is open for girls and boys ages 5-14. In the Biddy and Peewee age groups, score is not kept. Playing basketball for the first time? Check out 1st Hoop Beginner's Basketball Camp offered each summer.

Registration
If you are a returning player, you can register in person or online. We no longer take registrations over the phone. To register new players, stop by our office located at 1333 Overbrook Road, Burlington, during business hours (Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm). One of our front office staff will create your account, register your child, and take your payment (cash, check, MasterCard or Visa). We require a copy of their birth certificate and proof of address. Nearly all returning players will already be in the system, but please be prepared to verify your address with some form of ID.

2015-2016 Basketball Schedules


No games will be played between Monday, December 19, 2016 through Sunday, January 1, 2017. 
2016-17 schedules will be out Wednesday, November 30 at 5pm.

Age Cutoffs for 2016-2017 Leagues


Biddy (co-ed):  Must be 5 years old by February 19, 2017 - Not 7 years old before August 1, 2016
Peewee (co-ed): Not 9 years old before August 1, 2016
 Mite*: Not 11 before August 1, 2016 
Midget*: Not 13 before August 1, 2016 
Intermediate*: Not 15 before August 1, 2016
 
*Historically there has not been enough girls sign up for these leagues for an all-girls league. Girls who want to play through BRPD will be allowed to play in the boys league. For those preferring an all-girls league, call the YMCA at 336-227-2061.  -
