Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic City Council and Work Session Meetings will be held via ZOOM. The meetings will be live streamed on The City of Burlington's YouTube page - www.youtube.com/COBNC. View the public notice for the Virtual City Council Meeting here.

Public Comments

A Public Comment period will be held towards the end of the City Council Meetings. For those who wish to address the City Council during the Public Comment Period or a Public Hearing can do so in three ways.

1. By joining provided ZOOM link and joining the session. When you wish to participate in the public comment or public hearing you must press the 'raise hand' button in the ZOOM interface. City staff will unmute you so you may give comment.

2. By using provided dial in number and using *9 when prompted

3. Email their comments along with a name, address and topic to publiccomments@burlingtonnc.gov. The Mayor will read out public comments that are submitted before 5:00pm on the day of the Council Meeting.

Individual comments are limited to 5 minutes to any topic that is not on the agenda.
