Session Fee & Registration

 
Group Lessons
Group Lessons are offered year round for various ability levels.  These lessons emphasize water safety, skill, and stroke development.  Eight lessons are scheduled for each swim session.  Make-ups will only be given due to MAC closure (i.e. severe weather), if fewer than 6 lessons have been completed.  Registration must be made in person, with full payment due prior to the first lesson.  At this time, only cash or check payment is accepted.

Preschool swim lessons will never have more than 6 swimmers per instructor.
Parent and Child and Levels 1-6 will never have more than 10 swimmers per instructor.
Adult swim lessons will never have more than 12 swimmers per instructor.

Group Expectations:
* Registration will not be accepted after the first day of class.
* On the first day of class, swimmers should arrive 30 minutes prior to lesson start time.

Private Lessons
Private swim lessons are offered on a year-round basis for swimmers of all skill levels and ages to work one-on-one with an instructor.  These lessons are designed to build confidence and technique in the water.  The swimmer and instructor will work together to determine the best meeting days/times for all schedules involved.  These lessons will not be scheduled during Group Lesson swim times.  Private lessons last between 30 and 45 minutes depending on the age and stamina of the swimmer.  Registration must be made in person, with full payment due prior to the first lesson.  At this time, only cash or check payment is accepted.
*Registration is not currently open for private lessons.  Open registration is TBD.

Semi-Private Lessons
Semi-Private lessons are offered for 2-3 swimmers to meet together with one instructor.  These lessons are tailored to the abilities and goals of the swimmers.  The swimmers and instructor will work together to determine the best meeting days/times for all schedules involved.  These lessons will not be scheduled during Group Lesson swim times.  Registration must be made in person, with full payment due prior to the first lesson.  At this time, only cash or check payment is accepted.
*Registration is not currently open for semi-private lessons.  Open registration is TBD.

Swim lessons will run 3 weeks in length, with 2 lessons per week for a total of 6 lessons.
Lessons are offered on either a Monday/Wednesday rotation or Tuesday/Thursday.
Lessons are also offered in the mornings and the evenings.
All registrations must be made at the MAC and cannot be reserved over the phone. Call now and check out our availability!

Swim Lesson Descriptions

Water Fun Parent & Child


The parent practices with the child in the water, while at the same time the parent learns what skills, drills and games to play with the child when they are at the pool. This class is for parents and children ages 6 months to 3 years old. Minimum of 2 and maximum of 10 participants to have class.

Learn to Swim Class - Level I: Beginner


These classes teach the participant to how to swim 5 yards unassisted without stopping, beginning with the fundamental life-saving skills then progressing to forward movement. If the participant cannot already swim 5 yards, then these are the classes to take. Minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 to have class.

Learn to Swim Class - Level II: Intermediate


If the participant can already swim between 5 yards and 15 yards unassisted, then Intermediate is the class to take. This class will build the swimmer's swimming efficiency. Minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 to have class.

Learn to Swim Class - Level III: Swim Clinic


If the participant can already swim 15 yards (1/2 the pool length) unassisted, then Swim Clinic is the class to take. This class will work on improving the fundamentals of swimming in breath control, balance, sculling, and rhythm. These are the skills that all competitive strokes are based on. Minimum of 2 and maximum of 8 to have class.
