Road Conditions:
While most primary roads have been cleared, secondary roads still present danger due to snow and ice. Snow continues to fall and cover these roadways. There are no reports of trees in the roadway. We are continuing to plowing all our priority and secondary routes today. Downtown streets have been plowed. Plowing operation has been slow as the volume of snow and the wet snow caused the snow to be very heavy. The snow coming off the plows is clumping up in front of the plow making the snow create large boulders of snow. Normally the snow coming off the plow is like a wave of snow. Please be patient and stay off the streets as much as possible today. Stranded cars in our streets slow crews down. Due to the type of snow there will be a large volume of snow at the end of many residents’ driveways. This is unavoidable as crews remove snow from street.

Burlington Police Department:
Burlington Police reported 12 motorist assists overnight and one reported crash.
