    Enjoy a cool, crisp morning on the lake. Coffee and donuts will be provide before setting out on the water. Take in the vibrant colors of the changing season while cruising the lake. Fee includes, guide, kayak rental, paddle, PFD, coffee and donuts. For ages 18+ (ages 13-17 with participating adult). Registration opens September 15th.

  2. Fall Foliage Hike

    October 28, 2017, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Guilford Mackintosh Park & Marina

    Grab a friend and get out for a hike while enjoying the changing of the seasons! The hike is about 3 miles on natural surface trail over rolling terrain. Wear comfortable walking shoes (closed-toed) or boots. Bring a water bottle and bug spray. Trekking poles recommended. Suitable for ages 8+ (ages 8-16 must be accompanied by an adult). Dogs welcome!

  2. Dark in the Park

    October 28, 2017, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ City Park

    Come out and ride the amusement rides, enter the costume contest, play carnival games hosted by local non-profit groups, and enjoy an evening of Halloween fun at City Park on Saturday, October 28th. Walk over to the Thataways Stage for our Costume Contest (6pm) for children ages 12 & under. At 8pm turn your eyes to the sky for the annual aerial Halloween Fireworks show. Please note that the Carousel is currently closed for refurbishment and will not be available for rides during Dark in the Park. Non-Profit Organizations hosting games include: Alamance County 4-H Alamance County Relay for Life Burlington Youth Council ?Macon's Martial Arts
