The next race is scheduled for January, 6th. Same time and place.
The No-Frills Trail 5K is a series of trail runs (or hikes, walks or whatever speed you'd like). We just want people to get out, move and have a good time! Since this is not a fancy 5k, we’ll only be providing a well-marked 5K course and a clock so you can see your time as you finish. Registration and fees will be taken on race day.
If you want a t-shirt – wear one!
If you need snacks – bring some!
If you want an award – too bad!
The theme for this race is Reindeer Run so be sure to bust out your antlers and red noses!

For the fourth year in a row, Burlington will host the Carolina division of the Atlantic Coast S Gaugers. The ACSG build interactive model train displays. These displays are intricate and made to impress little kids and big kids.
The depot will host a special holiday themed exhibit spanning over a 2 week period. Find a night or day that works for your family/church group/school group or friends and come downtown to check it out!
Many businesses in our Downtown community are helping us keep the fun going by offering a special feature during the exhibit. This display will make little kids eye’s light-up and make our more seasoned citizens relive their youth. Stop in and say Merry Christmas to our downtown community.
