  1. CDBG Open House

    April 3, 2018, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Burlington Municipal Building Lobby

The Open House is an opportunity for recipients of CDBG & HOME funding allocated by the Burlington City Council to showcase the projects they have completed with the funding and the community members they have assisted. Members of the public and anyone who is interested in community development or the allocation of federal CDBG & HOME funding are encouraged to attend. Community Development Block Grants and the administration of those funds can often go unnoticed, but these monies are making a significant difference in the landscape and services provided in our community. U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development allocates CDBG dollars to urban communities to “develop viable urban communities by providing decent housing and a sustainable living environment, and by expanding economic opportunities, principally for low- and moderate-income persons.” More information is available by contacting Community Development Administrator Sonyé Randolph at (336) 222-5070.
