A 2-mile hike on natural surface trails (roots, rocks, etc.) over rolling terrain with a few places with uneven steps and moderate pace. Wear comfortable closed-toe walking shoes or boots. Bring a water bottle and an extra layer. Trekking poles/hiking stick recommended. All ages welcome. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. The hike starts promptly at 2:00 pm. Plan to arrive a few minutes prior to start time. Registration required at www.BurlingtonNC.gov/Outdoors
