image002.jpgThe City of Burlington and often certain state and federal agencies are involved in the approval process for the development of land within the City’s jurisdiction. This jurisdiction includes the area within Burlington’s corporate limits and the designated extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ) that surrounds the City. Developers, engineers, surveyors and architects must comply with government policies and standard specifications for their projects. * Please note: When submitting plans for review, developers are required to submit three sets of paper plans and one .pdf copy for each review. Four sets of plans and one .pdf is required for final approval; one set will be returned to the developer.
