Twitter and Facebook are often the fastest and easiest way to get the most up-to-date information about City services and programs. Notify Me sends messages by email, text message, or phone call about a variety of City services and programs. You can sign up for updates about schedule modifications to trash/recycling pick-up, loose leaf pick-up, City special events like the Carousel Festival and 4th Fridays, schedule changes for Youth and Adult Athletics, and much more. When you sign up for any notification, you will also receive any emergency alerts the City sends out.

LOCAL GOV TV
Local Gov TV offers local government programming for Burlington and Alamance County residents including Burlington City Council Meetings, Alamance County Commissioners Meetings, and Alamance-Burlington School Board meetings. Local Gov TV airs on Spectrum Channel 5 and streams live at www.localgovtvnc.com.

In general, a public record is any existing document or record that is made or received pursuant to law or ordinance in connection with the transaction of public business by the City.
