EVENTS 

The Special Events Division of the Burlington's Recreation and Parks Department hosts a variety of events at the Historic Depot and surrounding Downtown streets throughout the year. The St. Paddy’s Day Bash has become a community favorite along with the 4th Fridays Concert Series that runs from May through September featuring food trucks, live music ,and community organizations. The second half of the year focuses on celebrating the holidays through events such as the Halloween Scavenger Hunt, the Burlington Christmas Parade, and Holiday Magic.

BURLINGTON DOWNTOWN CORPORATION 

The Municipal Services District (MSD) makes up the 16 blocks in Downtown Burlington serviced by the Burlington Downtown Corporation, 501(c)3. The BDC provides programming, promotes businesses, and supports property owners. PARAMOUNT THEATER 

The Paramount Theater sits in the heart of Downtown Burlington and operates through supervision by the City of Burlington. Home of the Paramount Acting Company and local theater groups such as the Alamance Children’s Theater and The Gallery Players, the theater hosts over 200 nights of productions during a typical year. The Paramount also hosts live concerts, comedy shows, and other creative performances. 


PARKING 

There are convenient, free long-term parking lots right in the core of downtown off of Front Street at Worth and Spring Streets. There are also many short-term parking spaces along Downtown streets.
