Historic Preservation

Although many of the magnificent structures from Burlington's early days have been torn down by one means or another, significant clusters of buildings survive to remind and teach us of times gone by. Historic Preservation gained strong support throughout the country following the days of Urban Renewal. Today, many government and non-profit organizations are working together to bring old buildings and properties to life.
