    Meet us at Golden Corral for all you can eat food and great socialization! We will meet at 6pm at the Golden Corral on Garden Road. Each participant must have a parent/caregiver attend.   2. Converge: Maynard Aquatic Center for Special Populations

    October 18, 2019, 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM @ Maynard Aquatic Center

    Come catch a break from the heat! Join us for a morning of swimming at the Maynard Aquatic Center. There is no charge for this event. Transportation is not provided. We will meet at the Maynard Aquatic Center at 10:30am and are expected to end around 12:30pm. Participants must be 16 years or older to attend. Please register online or at the BRPD Main Office by September 12 at 12pm. Cotton is prohibited inside the pool and male swim trunks must have a liner.

    Dance party for children grades K-5. This is a fundraiser for I.A.M.M. Dance Company. The cost is $5 and parent or guardians must complete registration for child on site. Snacks and dance party included with registration.

  4. Converge: Classroom Closet for Special Populations

    October 25, 2019, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Impact Alamance

    Lend a helping hand as we volunteer at the Classroom Closet. The Alamance Citizens for Education (ACE) is a non-profit organization that supports public, charter and private schools in Alamance County. The Classroom Closet is a resource for teachers to purchase the essential school supplies at a discounted rate. We will be helping to stock and sort the shelves. There is not cost for this program and transportation is not provided. Participants must be 16 years or older. We will meet at the Classroom Closet at 10am and end at 12pm. Please register online or at the BRPD Main Office no later than October 24 at 12pm.

  5. Dark in the Park

    October 26, 2019, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM

    Come out and ride the amusement rides, enter the costume contest, play carnival games hosted by local non-profit groups, and enjoy an evening of Halloween fun at City Park on Saturday, October 26th. Walk over to the Thataways Stage for our Costume Contest (6pm) for children ages 12 & under. Play games on Field #1 and enjoy food from local vendors. At 8pm, turn your eyes to the sky for the annual aerial Halloween Fireworks show!
